Manchester United manager David Moyes has praised the club's fans for continuing to show their support, despite a difficult season.

He has written to all season ticket holders and told them his players and staff are "desperate to compensate" for their recent performances.

They are already out of both domestic cups, sit seventh in the Premier League and will have to overturn a 2-0 deficit to progress in the Champions League.

But Moyes reassured fans that the future is still bright at Old Trafford.

"The Manchester United supporters realize that there's some changes taking place and they understand that their time will come again," he said.
