Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao has denied that he has to put ice on his knee after every training session.
The summer loan signing injured his anterior cruciate knee ligaments in January while playing for Monaco.
That injury forced the Colombian to miss this World Cup this summer and he was not fully fit when he arrived at United on deadline day after his long spell out recovering.
It was also his third serious knee injury and reports today which suggested that he applies an ice pack to his left knee after every session had led to concern as United weigh up the option of making the former Monaco and Atletico Madrid striker's deal permanent.
But Falcao has come out strongly.
"One fool speculates. A few other fools lacking objectivity respond and millions believe lies. It is disastrous what a few fools can do," he said on Twitter.
