Former Sligo Rovers manager Paul Cook has been appointed as Portsmouth's new boss.
Cook has had succesfull spells at Accrington and Chesterfield since returning to England from Sligo.
The Liverpudlian won the FAI Cup in 2010 and 2011 for the Bit 'o Red, and also led Sligo to League Cup glory, before he was succeeded by Ian Baraclough who delivered the Premier Division title in 2012.
