Former Manchester United striker Diego Forlan has signed for Japanese club Cerezo Osaka.
The Uruguayan has made the move to the J-League for a reported €4.2 million after leaving Brazilian club Internacional.

The 34-year-old is likely to be part of Uruguay's squad for the 2014 World Cup and today he claimed that the move to Japan will not hinder his chances.
"The level of football here is very high from both a technical and physical standpoint so if anything, I think this will be good preparation for the World Cup," said the striker who scored five goals at the last World Cup, many of them from long range.
He was also named Player of the 2010 World Cup as he led Uruguay to the semi-finals.
