Everton have confirmed that attacking midfielder Kevin Mirallas will miss the rest of the season.
The Belgian international could now struggle to be fully fit for this summer's World Cup after suffering a groin injury during last weekend's win over Manchester United.
His three week absence will see him miss matches against Southampton, Manchester City and Hull as the Toffees look to get fourth place and a lucrative Champions League spot.
Manager Roberto Martinez discussed Mirallas' injury today:
MARTINEZ: "Kevin being out for the rest of the season is a real disappointment because he was in a phenomenal moment of form." #EFC

MARTINEZ: "Kevin is a quick healer. The most important aspect now is that we get him fully fit and ready to participate in the World Cup."
