Ched Evans’ proposed move to Oldham Athletic is off, according to Sky Sports.

The saga surrounding the convicted rapist’s search for a new club has been dragging on for weeks and the Latics are the latest outfit to feel a wrath of protests against signing the Welshman.

Oldham were reportedly in talks over a two-and-a-half-year deal but it now appears the Welshman will have to seek a team to play with elsewhere.
