There are three Premier League clubs involved in the Europa League quarter finals tonight.

Of the trio, Chelsea are best placed bring a 3-1 first-leg lead with them to Moscow for a 5pm match-up against Rubin Kazan.

Youngster Nathan Ake is likely to start after left-back Ryan Bertrand was ruled out, joining Ashley Cole (hamstring), Gary Cahill (knee) and Demba Ba (cup-tied) on the sidelines.

Two goal, first leg hero Fernando Torres will take the Senegalese's place.

 

Newcastle start their tie 3 - 1 down as they face a strong Benfica side at St James' Park.

Benfica currently top the Portuguese league by four points and will be heavily backed to make it to the Europa League semis.

But Alan Pardew will have different ideas on home soil although he has numerous injury woes to contend with.

Fabricio Coloccini, Davide Santon and Cheikh Tiote are ruled out, although Hatem Ben Arfa could be fit enough to take to the bench.

But he also has cup-tied players in French pair Yoan Gouffran and Mathieu Debuchy.

 

Tottenham are 2-2 going into the away leg of their match against Swiss side Basel. They also have major injury concerns with Gareth Bale, Aaron Lennon and William Gallas as they look to re-establish control of the tie.

Both Spurs and Newcastles games kick off is at five past 8pm.

 

The other game sees Lazio host Fenerbahce, having lost 2 - 0 in Istanbul last week.
