Donovan survived a count in the closing stages of the seventh before the referee waved off the bout with the Kildare man was again knocked down by a left hook in the second minute of the eighth.
"He came back from the depths of that fight," promoter Eddie Hearn said afterwards. "I had Barrett 4-1 down after five rounds.

As I said Zelfa was the puncher in the fight! Pulled the big punch out when he needed it.. Really good fight that everyone must have enjoyed? Come from behind knockout wins don’t come along very often but it has tonight! Zelfa will learn from this.. credit to both #FightCamp

Gutted for Eric and Kenny. Had him 5-1 up after 6 but Barrett has the dynamite to get him out of trouble #Fightcamp
