Manchester United recaptured their home form as they got back to winning ways at Old Trafford with a 3-1 win over West Ham. Danny Welbeck, Adnan Januzaj and Ashley Young scored the goals to give David Moyes his first home league win since the tenth of November.
Carlton Cole scored West Ham’s only goal, although it only came when United were already 3 goals ahead. United move up to seventh in the table with the win.
Fulham pushed them hard but Man City took a 3 points from Craven Cottage with a 4-2 win.
City had gone 2-0 up thanks to goasl from Vincent Kompany and Yay toure, but Fulham fought back with a goal from
Kieran Richardson and a stunning own goal from Vincent Kompany. City pulled away in the final 15 minutes with goals from Jesus Navas and James Milner. The win puts City second in the table, 1 point behind Liverpool.
Newcastle beat Crystal Palace 3-0 at Selhurst Park. Yohan Cabaye, Hatem Ben Arfa scored, while Palace’s Danny Gabbidon put into his own net to give the Magpies a third.
West Brom and Hull City played out a 1-1 draw. Jake Livermore scored Hull’s goal while Matej Vydra scored for West Brom.
Stoke were 2-1 winners over Aston Villa at the Brittania. Charlie Adam and Peter Coruch scored for Stoke, while Libor Kozak got Villa’s goal. The win puts Stoke 10th in the table, while Villa drop to 13th.
Sunderland and Norwich played out a goalless draw at the Stadium of Light, with Wes Brown getting a late red card for Sunderland.
