Enda McGinley believes Armagh are facing an almost impossible task to turn Laois over in Portlaoise on Saturday in the All-Ireland qualifiers.

Speaking to the lads on Off The Ball, McGinley explained that, "the mood is so flat in that county" and also says that in speaking to the players involved in the set-up they are simply not enjoying it.

Kieran McGeeney has called in a number of minors to "beef up the panel" in an effort to freshen things up due to an injury to Ciaran McKeever, who broke a bone in his foot earlier in the week.

McGinley says that Armagh and the footballers involved are in "a difficult place at the moment".

Armagh were beaten by Laois in the original game but the Leinster side were penalised for bringing on too many subs.

The Orchard County were given a replay but McGinley says that many people in the county had hoped it would not be the case and a line could be drawn under the year when they were beaten the first day.

What makes matters worse is that the game is a home tie for Laois and James Horan rowed in to agree completely with McGinley's assessment of how difficult the game will prove to be for McGeeney's men.
