Leitrim's 2016 prospects are already looking better after former captain Emlyn Mulligan returned to the squad.

The talented free-taker opted out of the squad this year to travel but he has confirmed to the Irish Independent that he resumed training earlier this week.

"I've started back in the gym with the squad and am looking forward to it," he told the paper.
