Eddie O'Sullivan has question marks about whether the strategy used by Leinster in the Guinness Pro 12 will bear as much fruit when the European Champions Cup begins.

The province saw off Ospreys 31-19 at the RDS on Friday.

While Eddie had defensive concerns about Leinster, he saw an improvement against Ospreys in regards to that.

But the former Ireland head coach believes they will have to bring something else in attack when it comes to facing stronger and more physical sides especially in Europe.

"The beauty for Leinster at the moment is the depth they have their squad, particularly in the back five and the back-row," he said to Off The Ball, before touching on issues that might arise when Leinster head into Europe.

"They were incredibly physical and incredibly intense and the Ospreys couldn't handle it. They just blew the Ospreys away. It was just like men against boys a lot of the time. That was probably Leinster's most impressive performance of the season. 

"But they did a lot of one-off carries and a lot of wrecking. They really bullied the hell out of Ospreys. The question is when they get into Europe and they meet a team like a Wasps or a French side. That strategy will probably not get you across the line because the guys standing opposite you are going to bring it just as big as you will. So I think in the Pro 12, they can bully most teams but I think the step up to Europe, if they try to bully teams, they mightn't be as successful."
