Guy Easterby believes Matt O’Connor is “certainly going to freshen things up” at Leinster, as the new man comes in to replace the departing Joe Schmidt.

Easterby was speaking with Newstalk’s Oisin Langan and said he, and others at Leinster, believe O’Connor “can add to the environment” as he brings a similar skillset to that utilised by Joe Scchmidt, while also being a “different type of character.”

Easterby discussed the process of recent days and weeks, as the situation regarding the future of Joe Schmidt unfolded and Leinster knew they had to make a move.
