Two of Roma's Bosnian stars sent Irish fans a warning last night in the Italian side's 3-2 win over Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.
Captain Edin Dzeko and dead ball specialist Miralem Pjanic scored the second and third goals in the game as the Italian side moved up to second place in Group E, five points behind Barcelona.
Dzeko joined Roma from Manchester City on loan in the summer and scored his first goal for his new side in the Champions League after running in behind the Leverkusen defence.
Pjanic guaranteed the win in the final ten minutes of the game. His penalty was his sixth goal of the season and second in two games against the German side.
Ireland face Bosnia and Herzegovina in Zenica on Friday, November 13th before the second leg in Dublin on the following Monday.
