Dundalk and Bray Wanderers have both missed the chance to significantly close the gap to leaders Cork City at the top of the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division.
Dundalk drew 0-0 at home to fourth placed Derry City to stay second, a full 15 points behind Cork.
Bray Wanderers remain third, just two points behind Dundalk after a 0-0 draw at Drogheda United.
The draw lifts Drogheda off the bottom of the table and out of the relegation zone by a point, having started the night level with four other sides in the battle to avoid the bottom three.

In the third match of the night, Limerick defeated Bohemians 2-1.
Rodrigo Tosi gave Limerick a first half lead before Bohs equalised through Georgie Poynton.
But a Daniel Byrne own goal gave Limerick the win and Bohs' night was compounded by a late red card for Dylan Hayes.
