Poignant images of a St. Peter's GAA Dunboyne jersey emerged today in Liverpool FC’s dressing room.

Former Ireland and Everton midfielder Kevin Kilbane revealed a tweet was sent to OTB as the Premier League club were looking to get their hands on a shirt from his the Dunboyne club.

The jersey arrived after a listener of OTB’s sent a jersey via taxi an hour after the tweet was sent. Kilbane delivered the shirt to Anfield ahead of today’s scoreless draw in Anfield.

Dunboyne man Sean Cox was attacked by Roma ultras in an unprovoked incident outside the Albert pub, ahead of last Wednesday’s first-leg Champion’s League semi-final at Anfield. Cox remains in a critical condition in hospital.

Well wishes have been flooding in for the 53-year-old father.

Liverpool also posted Sean’s name of advertising hoardings during today’s game against Stoke City in Anfield.  Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp also wore a badge in support of Cox at today’s game.

Everyone at OTB would like to extend our wishes and support to Sean, his friends and family.
