Drogheda United have secured a 2-0 victory against Sligo Rovers at the Showgrounds tonight as part of the SSE Airtricity League.
It was a slow opening to the match, with Declan 'Fabio' O'Brien scoring the first goal for Drogheda after 34 minutes.
There were no changes at half-time, and Drogheda managed their second goal in the 58th minute thanks to a low shot from Stephen Maher.
Several substitutes and a few close shots couldn't grant Sligo Rovers a goal of their own, and the last half hour passed without a goal for either team.
Tomorrow Limerick face Cork City at Thomond Park at 17:30. You can follow the match on Newstalk.ie's live score blog, which will be up and running for all tomorrow's sporting fixtures.
