Chelsea have confirmed the return of Didier Drogba to Stamford Bridge.
The Ivorian, who signed off his first Chelsea spell by scoring the winning penalty against Bayern Munich in the 2012 Champions League final is back at Chelsea on a one-year contract.
The 36-year-old will work Jose Mourinho again, the manager who originally brought him to Chelsea in 2005, a club where he scored over 150 goals.
"It was an easy decision. I couldn't turn down the opportunity to work with Jose again. Everyone knows the special relationship I have with this club and it has always felt like home to me," he said.
