Kevin Doyle has withdrawn from the Republic of Ireland squad for the Euro 2016 qualifier against Scotland at Celtic Park on Friday.

The striker, who is currently on loan at Crystal Palace from Wolves, was unable to train this morning because of a groin injury.

He will now return to his club for treatment and manager Martin O'Neill has no immediate plans to call up a replacement.
