Doncaster have agreed a deal to take Manchester United striker Federico Macheda on an initial one month loan.

The Championship club say they have the option of extending the deal "subject to paperwork".

Macheda will not be eligible to play against Watford tomorrow, but could make his debut against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
