Both TJ Ryan and his former joint manager Donal O'Grady have criticized the Limerick County Board for their handling of the management situation in recent weeks.
O'Grady who stepped down on Sunday night says he spoke to the Limerick Chairman shortly after leaving a voicemail and says the board tried to discredit him by stating he resigned via voicemail .
Ryan has released his own statement today saying it is regrettable that this issue could not have been sorted immediately and a resolution found but his focus now is to ensure they have the best preparation for the upcoming Munster championship game.
Last night on Off The Ball, we spoke to recently retired Limerick player Niall Moran who was critical of the handling of the situation, describing it as a "PR disaster" for the county.
