Ireland are up to third in the IRB World Rankings after a comfortable 49 - 7 win over Gerogia at the Aviva Stadium.

With what was largely a second string selection, Ireland started slowly leading 9 - 0 at the break.

But Joe Schmidt's side cut loose in the second half, scoring six tries.

Felix Jones scored two with Dave Kilcoyne, Rickart Strauss, Simon Zebo and Stuart Olding also going over for tries.

 

First half

On the scoreboard at least, the first half only showed a 9 - 0 advantage to Ireland. Here's how the stats reflected that portion of the match:
