There was disappointment for Brian Gregan in the semi finals of the 400 metres at the European Indoor Championships in Sweden. 

He was clipped towards the end of the first lap and then suffered an injury and he had to be stretchered off.

Ciara Everard came third in her 800 metres semi final to book a place in tomorrows final.

Rose-Anne Galligan finished fifth in the first semi final so missed out on a place in the final despite a personal best of 2 minutes 2.84 seconds.
