Paul Dickov has annoucned his resignation as manager of Oldham.

Despite their heroic giantkilling of Liverpool in the FA Cup, Dickov had been under pressure because of their poor form in League One.

The former Manchester City striker has decided to step down after yesterday's 3-1 defeat by Walsall. The club has only picked up one point in their last nine games.
