Vicente del Bosque has signed a contract extension to remain as coach of world champions Spain.

The former Real Madrid manager has guided Spain to World Cup success in 2010 as well as victory at Euro 2012 in his five years in charge.

The new deal means Del Bosque will continue at the helm until 2016.
