The Aidan O'Brien trained Declaration Of War has pulled-off a shock in the opening race of this year's Royal Ascot festival.
With the trainer's son Joseph on board, the 15-to-2 shot won the Group 1 Queen Anne Stakes as the favourite, "Animal Kingdom" was unplaced.
Declaration Of War beat Aljamaaheer by three quarters of a length with Gregorian finishing in third.

The feature this afternoon is the St James's Palace Stakes with 2000 Guineas winner Dawn Approach looking to make up for his disappointing derby defeat.
