Arizona Cardinals running-back David Johnson scored three touchdowns as his team defeated the New York Jets 28-3 at home.

Johnson scored a touchdown in each of the first three quarters, including a 58-yard touchdown run. That first quarter run, was the longest touchdown in his career.

The Cardinals moved to 3-3 for the season, while the Jets dropped to 5-1. Such was the Jets' poor performance, quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was replaced by Geno Smith in the final quarter, but the chance did nothing to advance the AFC East team's cause.

In his one attacking drive, Smith threw an interception and was sacked in his nine plays.

Next week sees the Cardinals welcome the Seattle Seahawks to Arizona, while the New York Jets are at home to the Baltimore Ravens.
