Gordon D’Arcy and Brian O’Driscoll’s record breaking partnership has been together for more than one decade and 48 games. Game number 49 should follow on Sunday against England, presuming D’Arcy can overcome a dead leg.

D’Arcy spoke with Newstalk Breakfast’s Oisin Langan and told him about his close relationship with his midfield partner, while also explaining what makes them an effective duo on the field. “It’s not so much this thing of you automatically read it. There’s a certain amount of covering each other’s ass and just getting it done. That’s a big mantra in this group of players.”
