Irish pro cyclist Dan Martin has finished second in the Tour of Beijing.

The Garmin-Sharp rider finished among the pack in today's finaly stage sprint around the Olympic Bird's Nest stadium and ended the Tour three seconds behind the winners Philippe Gilbert.

That result means Martin has finished inside the UCI Top 10 for the third time in four years.
