Damien Duff is out for the rest of the season. The 35 year old former Ireland winger picked up a knee injury in Fulham’s FA Cup clash on February 4th.
Duff is out of contract at the end of the season so may have played his last game for the club. The player has previously stated that he wants to play until he drops whether that’s for Fulham, Ireland the SSE Airtricity league or Leinster senior league! With Keith Fahey and Stephen Mc Phail recently back will this out clubs on high alert. The Premier league winner has had highs and lows throughout his career winning a title with Chelsea but suffering relegation with Newcastle if he chooses to retire he will have earned it but with his experience you suspect clubs will come calling.
