Saturday's derby between CSKA Sofia and Levski Sofia began in a strange fashion as CSKA's coach crumpled to the ground only five minutes in.

Stoycho Mladenov, who was standing by the edge of the pitch, claims to have been briefly knocked unconscious by a snowball thrown from the stands.

Mladenov, whose team later won the game 3 -0 later condemned the snowball throwing:

"They should throw them out of the group. Tomorrow, someone could die."

Vladimir Vladimirov, head of Levski's fan club, was less than convinced:

"Children play with snowballs but I haven't heard of anyone who has collapsed. It was disgusting to watch, his over-acting was so poor."

The Bulgarian Football Union will meet to discuss the incident tomorrow.
