The reigning Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo has named his five favourite young footballers in the World.

The 30-year-old was speaking in an interview with BT Sport and included a current team mate on the list: Norwegian teenage superstar Martin Odegaard.

The 16-year-old joined Real Madrid last January from his local team Stromsgodset for €3million. Odegaard has already played seven times for Norway and made his debut at the age of 15 in 2014.

Ronaldo named two Premier League footballers in his list. Chelsea's Eden Hazard was the PFA Player of the Year last season and has helped his national side Belgium to qualify for Euro 2016, while also impressing in the 2014 World Cup.

Memphis Depay joined Manchester United in the summer after helping PSV Eindhoven win the Eredivisie title, and Ronaldo has been impressed with the 21-year-old in recent months.

The only player Ronaldo named that plays in La Liga is his Barcelona rival Neymar. The Brazilian has already scored 46 times for his country and has helped his side in La Liga hugely in recent weeks in the absence of the injured Lionel Messi.

Juventus star Paul Pogba is the final player named by Ronaldo. The 22-year-old joined the Italian giants in 2012 and made his debut for France the following year.

Ronaldo may have to face Hazard and Pogba next summer at Euro 2016, but if Odegaard hopes to be at the tournament, he needs his Norwegian side to defeat Hungary in the Euro 2016 play offs.
