Alan Cadogan has opted to focus on playing for Cork's hurlers next year.

There had been some speculation that the Douglas clubman would join his brother, Eoin, on the football panel.

But after some fine performances en route to Cork's Munster title win this year, Cadogan has chosen to continue with Jimmy Barry Murphy's panel.
