All Ireland-winning Cork hurler Brian Murphy is set to retire according to reports.
The Evening Echo newspaper has stated that the 31-year-old informed management of the decision last night.
Murphy won All Irelands with the Rebel County in 2004 and 2005, and also picked up an All Star in 2006 after helping his county to an All Ireland final.
