Anthony Nash has been named as the new captain of the Cork senior hurlers.
The goalkeeper has been appointed to the role after last year's captain Patrick Cronin asked to step down from the role in order to concentrate on his own playing career.
Manager Jimmy Barry-Murphy says that he has accepted Cronin's request with regret.
