Cork City's Brian Lenihan has been discharged from hospital after suffering concussion in last night's 2-0 defeat to Bohemian at Dalymount Park.

The defender fell awkwardly during the second half - after which he lost consciousness and medical staff attended to him on the pitch for an extended period. The injury resulted in an additional 13 minutes time at the end of the 90.

A scan has shown that the defender has not suffered any serious injury.
