The top two teams in the country have avoided each other in the semi-final draw for the FAI Cup.
In last season's final, back-to-back League champions Dundalk defeated Cork City after extra-time. A Richie Towell goal in the 107th minute gave Dundalk their first FAI Cup since 2002 after a 1-0 win.
Stephen Kenny's side have been drawn at home against Derry City in the pick of the semi-final ties. The two teams meet in Oriel Park nine days before the cup tie.
In the second semi-final, 2014 champions St. Patrick's Athletic welcome Cork City to Richmond Park. Pats ended their 53-year wait for a Cup win when they defeated Derry City two years ago. Cork City have not won the Cup since a 1-0 win against Longford Town in 2007.
Both semi-finals take place on October 2nd, with the final taking place in the Aviva Stadium on November 6th.
