Conor McGregor began his war of words last night with Rafael dos Anjos in typical fashion, after comparing himself to Jesus. 

The two fighters were in Las Vegas and met face to face for the first time ahead of fighting for dos Anjo's UFC Lightweight Belt in March at UFC 197. 

When a journalist asked dos Anjos about McGregor's views on the Brazilian's Christianity, the Dubliner responded by proclaiming that; "Me and Jesus are cool!". He added; " I'm cool with all the gods. Gods recognise gods." 

The fight takes place on March 5th and tickets go on sale on Friday.
