Connacht are continuing their preparations in Russia ahead of their Challenge Cup game with Enisei-STM.

Pat Lam's side arrived in Krasnoyarsk yesterday morning to acclimatise in the freezing conditions ahead of Saturday's game. The match is historic for Russian club rugby, as it is the first season they will be represented in a European competition. Around 25,000 fans are expected at the game on Saturday which kicks off at 8pm Irish time in Russia.

The team were today meeting some of the locals of Krasnoyarsk after yesterday's journey from Shannon Airport. The return trip for the side will be just under 12,000 kilometres.
