The Belfast man beat defending Commonwealth champion Sean McGoldrick on points after their bout was halted during the second round because of a nasty cut suffered by Conlan.
Michaela Walsh will also fight for gold at the Glasgow games.
The Belfast flyweight won her semi-final with India's Pinki Rani on a split decision.
