Joe Hart reckons Manchester City are equipped to go all the way in the Champions League after they completed their own version of the great escape by reaching the knockout stages last night.

City won 2-0 at Roma to snatch second place in Group E, having not won any of their opening four matches.

And goalkeeper Hart firmly believes they have the tools to win in the competition entire.

“We had a bit of a slow start (in the competition),” said the 27-year-old.

“But you don’t win the Premier League easily and we’ve done that twice in three years.

“We’ve got resolve, we’ve got character, and we’ve got fantastic players.

“So add that all together and we’ve got a chance.”
