Mayo could be without Cillian O'Connor for their entire Allianz Football League campaign.

The Mayo News have reported that the Championship's top scorer underwent knee surgery on Monday, and that his rehab time is between five and six months.

O'Connor scored a total of 3-34 en route to Mayo's eventual semi-final replay defeat to Dublin.
