The 2014 Cheltenham Festival kicks off tomorrow and to look ahead to Day One, we were joined by our racing pundit Donn McClean.
Supreme Novices Hurdle
The firm favourite for the Supreme Novices Hurdle is Paul Nicholls' Irving. But while Donn is impressed by the English steed, he is backing Willie Mullins' horses to do well, tipping Vautour as the true favourite for the race.
But Donn is tipping Vautour's stable mate Wicklow Brave to come out on top.
The Arkle Chase
Champagne Fever is the favourite for the 2.05 start and based on his form, Donn is backing last year's Supreme Novices Hurdle and sees Rock On Ruby as vulnerable.
The Mare's Hurdle
Quevega is the bookies' odds on favourite and is looking to win the race for the sixth consecutive time. Donn isn't looking past the Willie Mullins'-trained horse.
The Champion Hurdle
Donn sees Jezki as the value in the showpiece but with The New One and Hurricane Fly among the runners, the race is "intriguing" and unpredictable.
