Jose Mourinho has hinted that Ashley Cole will not start for Chelsea in Monday's clash against Arsenal after he was spotted at the Gunners Christmas party.

The former Arsenal left-back was pictured at the event less than a week before the two sides were due to meet.

Cole has been on the bench of late with Cesar Azpilicueta in favour with Mourinho.

However the Chelsea boss refused to publicly criticize Cole for his actions:

"I have my opinion, but I keep it to myself. It was a free day for them, so I'm not a father, I'm a manager, and I can't control what they do when they are not with me."
