Michael Cheika has been confirmed as Australia's new coach.

The former Leinster boss, who brought the Waratahs to the Super Rugby title last season, has signed a three-year deal and will be in charge for their November internationals - including a meeting with Ireland on the 22nd of next month.

Cheika will remain in charge of the Waratahs for next season, and was unveiled overnight. At a press conference, he spoke about his reasons for taking the job, which you can hear here:
