Arsenal came from behind to secure a decent result in their opening Champions League group game.

Alexis Sanchez's second-half goal earned them a 1-1 draw at Paris Saint-Germain.

Arsene Wenger's team were generally out-played in a first half which started with David Ospina surprisingly in goal in place of Petr Cech for Arsenal.

It didn't take long for PSG to go ahead as Edinson Cavani headed in within 45 seconds of the first whistle.

Both sides had a player sent off in stoppage time as Marco Verratti and Olivier Giroud were sent down the tunnel.

Meanwhile, Celtic were hammered 7-0 by Barcelona at the Nou Camp, with Lionel Messi scoring a hat-trick.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers' former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez scored twice in the second half, after Neymar and Andres Iniesta also found the net.

Celtic forward Moussa Dembele also missed a penalty when the score was 1-0.

The Manchester City's home match with Borussia Monchengladbach was called off before it could start due to heavy rain in the area.
