Celtic have confirmed the signing of Holmbert Fridjonsson on a pre-contract agreement.

The 20-year old Icelandic striker has agreed a four-year deal and officially joins the Scottish champions on January 1st.

Fridjonsson currently plays for Fram in his homeland where he has netted 13 goals in 45 games.

He has also represented Iceland at U19 and U21 level.
