Lawyers for Italian businessman Massimo Cellino say he has completed his takeover of Leeds United.
His company, Eleanora Sport Limited, have purchased 75 per cent of the Championship club's shares and Cellino has joined their board of directors.
The path for his takeover was cleared on Saturday, when he successfully appealed the Football League's decision to block his application because of a previous conviction for tax evasion.
Leeds have been in turmoil in recent weeks with part of the players' wages deferred adding to a poor run of form on the pitch.
The Elland Road club's manager Brian McDermott will be given a chance according to Cellino despite the fact that the Cagliari owner tried but failed to sack him when he first attempted his takeover in January.
