New Tottenham Hotspur head coach Tim Sherwood has been praised for getting the best of Emmanuel Adebayor in his two games in charge so far.
Sherwood has also lauded the Togolese international for his contribution since his return to the first team fold.
The ex-Arsenal and Manchester City striker has scored three goals in those games but Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher still has reservations about Adebayor's attitude.
"He should be one of the best strikers in the world but why isn't he? He's got everything. He can play up front on his own, he can play with a partner. You can criticize AVB for putting him in the reserves but Wenger got rid of him, Mancini got rid of him and AVB tried to get rid of him. Let's not get carried away about Adebayor. Why doesn't he do it every week like Didier Drogba?" said Carragher.
Sherwood is preparing for his first game in permanent charge on Saint Stephen's Day.
The former midfielder has been given special dispensation to take the role despite not having his UEFA Pro Licence.
He has no experience in senior management but has been part of the Tottenham back room team for around five seasons, having been appointed to the staff by Harry Redknapp in 2008.
