Ahead of the final week of fixtures in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division, both Limerick and Drogheda United are playing for survival this weekend.

Limerick are bottom of the table on 26 points, with Drogheda United lying two points ahead on 28 points. With only one team guaranteed relegation Limerick know they need to beat Sligo Rovers in The Showgrounds to have any hope of survival. If Limerick win, Drogheda must beat Shamrock Rovers in Tallaght to avoid the bottom spot.

Limerick failed to win a league game until their 22nd game of the season when they defeated Sligo Rovers in Markets Field. Since that win, they have won another five games in the following ten matches to have a chance of avoiding automatic relegation.

While a lot of focus will be on the relegation battle, both St Patrick's Athletic and Bohemians are looking to get the last European spot for next year. St Pats are two points clear of Bohemians with a far superior goal difference so know a draw away to Galway United will be enough for a Europa League spot next season. Bohemians are at home to Cork City needing a win to have any chance of returning to European football for the first time since 2012.

Stuey Byrne and Dan McDonnell both joined Joe in studio last night to discuss the final weekend of fixtures in the Premier Division.
